Minneapolis Institute of Art — Year of the Horse
The Challenge: Design an exhibit for an art museum

Screens

Draft One

Draft Two

Final Draft
Above you will find my drafts for the exhibit's main screen. This screen will be the first thing you see when you approach the exhibit.

Above you will notice that there are two screens accompanying the Year of the Horse screen. The initial draft for the Year of the Horse was duplicated twice. Each of those were then designed to showcase other exhibits. The reason the Year of the Horse screen feels unique in comparison to the other exhibit's screens is because it's the featured attraction at the MIA, and I wanted to visually set it apart from its counterparts.

Kiosk
There will also be a timeline that is accessed through the kiosk. The viewer will only see a segment at a time as they swipe through the history of horses in ancient Chinese art and culture.
